This peaceful garden has been running since 1996. It
began as a cooperative effort as a means for low income single parents to feed
their families. It grew into a community effort where today many individuals
benefit. Children learn to garden with their parents and grandparents. Cancer
patients have enjoyed the therapeutic benefits. People have pitched in together
to make the garden the success it is today. A private member has graciously
donated the use of the land where the garden is located.
