How can you become involved?
You can chose how you would like to be involved in the WRALN and as much time you can or want to commit.You can be involved in 1 of the 3 working groups that were formed to address the 3 goals outlined above.There is also an opportunity to be involved in the Steering Committee, which oversees and supports the working groups and provides overall direction for the WRALN.
What does membership involve?
The WRALN meets the first Thursday of every month in the afternoon. Each face‐to‐face meeting begins with a professional development session, where members can share relevant information or opportunities within in the Region. Following is a round‐table discussion and then a working session for the individual working groups and steering committee.
It is expected that each meeting will bring the group closer towards its goals resulting from the synergistic collaboration of community partners in the area of active living.
